Having transitioned from the city to the countryside, Tom Solty uses this work as part of his ongoing visual diary, recording moments observed both in nature and in moments of quiet introspection, often first via his phone, then re-imagined on canvas. Through Tell Me Right From Wrong, Solty documents not only the external changes in his environment, but also the internal shifts in his identity and values. The work invites the viewer to consider the spaces between black and white, between what is known and what remains unresolved, and to find beauty there.
