Last Call captures a delicate cusp of communal life, an ending note, a fading gesture, caught in dusky light and textured memory. Limniou’s layered oils and crayon strokes evoke the hush of evening, when rituals draw to a close and presence becomes quiet poise. The forms are soft, suggestive rather than explicit, hovering between figuration and abstraction. This moment of last exchange resonates with Limniou’s poetic oeuvre, where everyday acts become mythic gestures, and memory lingers in color and touch. The piece embodies her gentle interrogation of how we share time, ritual, and place before entering solitude.
