Art Rotterdam: Van Nelle Fabriek
Overview
Located in the remarkable Van Nelle Fabriek, Enari will be participating for the first time at Art Rotterdam 2023! We are pleased to announce that we will champion two artists at the fair; Francisco Mendes Moreira (Portugal, 1979) and Nina Vandeweghe (Belgium, 1988).
Alternating between realism and abstraction, Moreira’s images pose these eternal questions; where did we come from, what came before us and who else is out there? Vandeweghe's work eloquently draws on this by constructing compositions with fictional, cartoon-ish characters that seem to only just fit within the boundaries of the pictorial plane.
